It was at the end of 1985 when Petra joined the “Original Stöb Jazz band” playing the washboard. Almost the same time she also took the drum set and so made here first steps into traditional jazz music. She played in the New Orleans Dusty Duds until 2006. In 1986 she became bass drummer of the “King Zulu’s brass band”.
We, and not just we, think she’s one of Europe’s best brass band bass drummers. Petra also takes the vocals on some songs.
