Chinee is ranked with the all-time great Crescent City drummers. Started his career in Storyville, playing with Bebé Ridgley's Tuxedo Orchestra. Associated with Buddy Petit from 1915 in Eagle Band through 1931. he recorded with Papa Oscar Celestin, 1927.16
