As a brass band musician he played with: Reliance Brass Band

In his early years, 1917-1918, he led the Reliance Brass band units at Bucktown and Milneburg lakefront resorts. 1919-1926 he led the Halfway House Orchestra. In 9145 he moved to Biloxi, Miss.16
