As a brass band musician he played with: Eureka, Tuxedo Brass Band

Nickname: Loochie, or Little Albert

He begin his musical career in 1918 with the Elton Theodore Orchestra of Algiers. He played sometimes with the Original Tuxedo Brass Band and from 1932 until his retirement from music in the early fifties with the Young Tuxedo Brass Band.16

He was the son of trumpet player Tom Albert, who was one of the original members of the Eureka Brass Band.
