As a brass band musician he played with: Kid Howard, Tuxedo Brass Band

He was the older brother of Thomas Jefferson.

He played for a long time at the lake resorts, mainly with Peter Bocage at Mama Lou's in the 50's. He also played frequently in the Young Tuxedo Brass Band.16
