As a brass band musician he played with: Johnny Fischer's, Happy Schilling's Brass Band

Nickname: "one-leg" because of his wooden leg.

Before WW I he played with the Johnny Fischer's and Happy Schilling's brass band. After the war he toured southwestern U.S. as a solo pianist.
