As a brass band musician he played with: Eureka, E. Gibson, Henry Kid Rena, Jimmy Jackson, Pacific, St. Johns Brass Band

Eddie Richardson was assistant manager or assistant leader of the Eureka Brass Band at the time Percy Humphrey took over the band. Mentioned by Emanuel Paul, interviewed for Tulane University April 19,1960

He recorded on July 30th, 1962 at 732 St. Louis Street in New Orleans with Emile Barnes and the Jane's Alley Six. He was also present on the recording made in New Orleans on August 25, 1951 of the Eureka Brass Band.

He paraded with the Kid Rena Brass Band and was in the WPA and ERA music programs in the mid-depression years. He also played with the Gibson Brass Band.
