Pickwick Brass Band
Son of Henry Allen, the band leader of the Allen Brass Band.
He played with the dance bands of Henry "Kid" Rena,
Chris Kelly, Sidney Desvigne.
He was with Joe "King" Oliver in New York (1927). On the riverboats he played
with Fate Marable and Fats Pichon.16
