As a brass band musician he played with: Eureka Brass Band.

Brother of Al (sbs), Andrew (cl. sax) and Sam (trp) Morgan.

He started his own Young Morgan Band in 1922.
His older brother Sam, played lead on the great recordings of the Sam Morgan band in 1927. After Sam's stroke, Isaiah held his brother's band together.16
