As a brass band musician he played with: Lafon, Kid Howard, Silver Leaf, Tuxedo Brass Band

He was the younger brother of Andrew Jefferson.

He workes in Lafon Brass Band in the late 30's. He also frequently marhed with the Young Tuxedo Brass Band.
