As a brass band musician he played with:
Eureka,
Tuxedo Brass Band.
Nickname: "Sweet Lips"
Willie also played in John Robichaux 's Orchestra. In 1925, after Sam Morgan
suffered a stroke, Willie took over his group and renamed it Magnolia Orchestra,
but the band lasted only a few month. By the late 1920s Pajeaud performed with
three other musicians (one of them was Albert Dominique and an other was Danny
Barker) at the Alamo Dance Hall on Burgundy Street.

"then I got the job with Willie Pajeaud, on El Alamo, at Burgundy and Canal
[streets]. Upstairs over the Woolworth, there was a hall up there, El Alamo. It
was a dime a dance."
"Willie Pajeaud had a knack of playing dancing schools or getting a steady job.
Then he was in the Eureka band, he was sometime Olympia band. It was full time
if you hustle hard."
