Henry "Kid"
Rena and the Zulu Brass Band
Ezab "Zeb" Lenares, a notable New Orleans clarinetist was with Manuel
Manetta in 1913 at the Villa Cabaret, the former Tuxedo Bar after it shut
because of a shooting fracas on Monday March 24, 1913, in New Orleans.4
He played in many of the district combinations between 1909-17. During the
early 20's he was heard with the Foster Lewis jazz band and with Kid Rena.16
