Opened in 1967, next to the original Dixieland Hall, almost directly when the old Hall closed.

New Orleans Picayune:
The newspaper began life at 25 January 1837, and also a newspaper that gave a lot of information about the activities of the jazz and brass bands in New Orleans.

- Charlie Love lived here with his cousin Henrietta who was married with "Bobo" Lewis, the tuba player of the Pacific Brass Band.
